Then hear Thou in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause. - I Kings 8:45

The Prayer Mantle from The Hour of Prayer

We believe prayer can change all things in our homes, our lives, our nation, and in the world in which we live. Prayer builds up our faith, changing and turning circumstances around. Prayer intercedes for people, pulling down strongholds and ushering in God's presence, allowing His will to be done. Prayer resolves needs and opens new areas of evangelism. Simply put, the aggressive, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces amazing results.

If we are going to see change in our world, we must understand that the first step is constant prayer. We are seeking one million prayer partners to join with us and aggressively seek God's presence and invite His will to be done in all things.

Prayer partners are the single most important component in helping establish the Kingdom of God here on earth. However, constant prayer can be difficult. It is hard to stay focused and pray on a daily basis. Regardless, we are convinced that if you make the commitment to join us in prayer, God will grant you the time and the ability to fulfill this mandate. In addition, we have a handy Prayer Journal form you can download and print to help you maintain your prayer focus and organize your prayer strategy.

The focus of the Prayer Partner is one of intercessory prayer. We are seeking Prayer Partners to be in agreement with and commit to the following:

1. To Pray for the leaders of our nation.

“I exhort therefore, that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in acceptance in the sight of God our Savior.” (I Timothy 2:1-3)

2. To Pray for the repentance of the sins  of our nation.

“Woe to the obstinate children,”
Declares the Lord,
“to those who carry out plans that are not mine,
Forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit,
Heaping sin upon sin;
Who go down to Egypt
Without consulting me;
Who look for help to Pharaoh’s protection,
To Egypt’s shade for refuge (Isaiah 30:2-3)

3. To Pray for the unity of the Body of Christ.

“That they all may be one; as thou, Father art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” (John 17:21)

4. To Pray for the healing of the nations.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
(2 Chronicles 7:14)

5. To Pray for the restoration of the family.

“See I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.” (Mal. 4:5-6)

Won't you stand with us and become a Prayer Partner?
